Print Care

  • Giclée prints are very special: they can be found in the world's finest museums, art galleries and private art collections and should be treasured and cared for in the same way as an original piece of art.

  • Prints should be stored in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight, The UV radiation from the sun will, over time, cause the colours to fade.

  • Please keep your new print covered until it is framed to avoid damage. Be careful of water, hard objects & adhesives as these can damage and scratch the surface of your print.

  • Care must be taken to ensure the prints do not come into contact with material that is not acid free as this will cause leaching into the print(s).

  • To increase the longevity of your print, please ensure the image is framed appropriately using only acid free materials and preferably displayed behind UV glass.
